Psalm 103:17-18
From everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him and his righteousness with their children’s children — with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.

What of Today’s Verse…

Forever love is talked about in dime store novels, but only found in God. We tap that reservoir of eternal and divine love through the Holy Spirit, who helps us receive it and share it.

Let us Pray:

Everlasting Father, may your love fill your people so the world may know we are Jesus’ disciples. Through him I pray. Amen.

Words of Wisdom

Flexible…

Through an ever-growing, spiritual awareness, I am flexible in all my interactions.

The trees most likely to survive a storm are the ones with deep roots and flexible trunks and branches. This manifestation is consistent within all nature, and it reflects the need I have for strong roots and the ability to be flexible and open with others.

When I feel a need to have things occur my way or to see events work out in a particular manner, I may be setting myself up for disappointment. Rooted in contemplative prayer, however, I unclench emotionally and allow these demands to become preferences.

The more spiritually aware I am, the more flexible I can be. As I continue to expand my awareness, I see the world in new ways and I deepen my connection with all humanity.

“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. They shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream.” —Jeremiah 17:7-8
