Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
What of Today’ Verse…
As someone who had a very clumsy stage of life, this promise is almost beyond believing—nothing can make me stumble! But when it comes to living life, if I know God’s will and love it, I will do it. Then nothing can make me stumble.
Let Us Pray:
Thank you God for this day. Thank you for all that lies ahead. Thank you that I don’t have to face with doubts about my basic values and without a sense of your will for my life. Stir in me a love for your will and your way so that nothing can make me stumble. Empower me by your Spirit and guide me by your truth so that I may more perfectly reflect your character. Through Jesus I pray. Amen.’

Choices
I respond to life in positive, creative ways.
Each day, life presents me with choices that will impact my life and may impact the lives of others. I know that every choice offers me an opportunity to act on the guidance of God.
I understand that feeling frustrated by my seemingly limited choices is, in itself, a choice. Instead I decide to hold positive thoughts about the moment and the future. I also choose to invite direction from and give thanks for God’s loving presence.
From a deep awareness of the presence of God in and through all, I respond to life in positive and creative ways. I rejoice that each day offers me alternatives. I make choices decisively and confidently.
“Therefore, friends, select from among yourselves seven men of good standing, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may appoint to this task, while we, for our part, will devote ourselves to prayer and to serving the word.” —Acts 6:3-4
