Isaiah 26:3

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

What of Today’s Verse…

It is naive to think that trusting in God solves all of our problems — Christians have many of the same problems that unbelievers do because they share the same mortal flesh. On the other hand it’s true that if we trust in God, we believe our work stands or falls in his hands and that ultimately we will share in his victorious and glorious presence. It means our lives will not be lived in vain. That’s not just confidence, but it’s the foundation to true peace — life lived to its fullest and richest knowing that it matters and we don’t need to be anxious about its results.

Let us Pray:

Almighty Prince of Peace, thank you for giving me the assurance that my life will not be lived in vain. May I share that peace with others today. Through Jesus I pray. Amen.

Words of Wisdom

World Peace

With faith and compassion, we shine the peace of Christ into the world.

This is a time for a new world. Nothing is stagnant, for change is the norm. This is a time for renewed belief in peace for the world. With the Christ of our beings as our ever-present partner, we follow divine guidance, co-creating a world of peace.

The peace of Christ saturates our thoughts and actions. Inventive approaches make room for new solutions. We do not see or expect to see our circumstances remain the same.

Our faith and compassion are expressed, creating healing and influencing change. Relationships are renewed and situations are transformed. Understanding and peace prevail. One heart at a time, we establish peace in the world.

“For their sake he remembered his covenant, and showed compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love.”–Psalm 106:45
