Fear thou not…

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  And fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yes, I will help thee; yes, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.  For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.  And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by them that make peace.

Great peace have they who love thy law: and nothing shall cause them to stumble.  And when thou passes through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walks through the fire, thou shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

So cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he will sustain thee: he will never suffer the righteous to be moved.
